Festival of Lights - 3D Environment

A historical asian city plunged into the light of a thousand lanterns and candles, with a sky full of glowing sky lanterns rising towards the night sky.
I made this project for my first Demo Reel. The buildings and trees are from CG Trader with some other Assets from Kitbash3D and Quixel. Lighting and LookDev was done in Houdini Solaris using Karma as the main renderer. A lot of the work was done in Compositing (NukeX) to get the overall look and feel just right.
